The movie was childish, like all video games made into movies are. I can only imagine what awaits us with Silent Hill the Movie, and Hitman, the Movie.
In fact, is there any good original movies at all these days? Many try to remake some classics, and fail miserably....ie: The latest "The Fog". Major let down.
I was under the impression that the bodyparts and holding tanks in D3 the game were from the demons. In one level they actually had buttons you could push in front of tanks holding various demons and bodyparts and it would tell you a brief history on the demon in the tank.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt Beth and say there was genetic experimentation in the game, but there was also LOADS of demons....none of which were in the movie. I was highly disspointed. I expected to see obese demons with rocketlaunchers as arms, infants flying around with reptilian wings, and giant horned satan-like creatures hurling firebolts.
I expected them to find the soul cube, to delve into hell, to be surrounded by lakes of lava and for them to spelunk into caverns filled with bones and satanic carvings.
The only good part of the movie in my very humble opinion was the 2 minute scene where it switched to 1st person view. :joy:
