Thats the fun part of this hobby! Trying to maintain and sustain a proper ecosystem, diseases are just yet another bump! A really crappy one!

well so far after the orange shoulder tang had it but it went away. i had luck with garlic. so far no fish is affected but im not gonna buy any fish for atleast 2 months or so. i really dont want anything to happend.

Sooo sorry to hear about your loss nissan! My goodness we have missed ya. I understand what with your battle with ich and all. I'm glad everything else seems to be back to normal though.

I am really sorry... I had wondered why none of your threads were popping up on my subscribed list.... I didn't know where you went. :(
At least the other guys made it through... especially the orange shoulder, I know he was a favorite. And the anthias... YAY!

I've never lost a fish to ich/ick/parasites and I have 44 fish that are all in the same system(not the same tank) and I've never QT'ed them before. I have had ich/ick out breaks several times before but never lost a single fish. :) Guess I'm special. :p

im glad its going along super with them! they are happy and no signs of ich at all! and thanks sis! i really miss you!

i dont QT them either! i guess the mimic was the one who brought it
