What are some things that you use every single day for your aquarium that are not standard issue aquatic supplies? Here are a few of mine:Turkey Baster-
Uses:
Blowing excess detritus off the rocks and sand (only to make sure it gets filtered out, make sure you have proper flow).

Gloves-

Uses:
Fish bite and pester you and with gloves, it isn't as bothersome. You don't have to be hung up on putting lotion, hand oils, soap, etc into your tank from you hands. Certain diseases can be contracted by touching rocks and organisms, though rare, this will eradicate the risk.

Buckets, Jugs, and Tubs-

Uses:
Hold water. The uses go on and on. Mixing, top off, etc.

Toothbrush-

Uses:
Used to scrub detritus off the rocks and spread coraline by scrubbing it and making it release spores.

Flashlight-

Uses:
Checking things out at night.
