Increasing salinity (specific gravity)

I recently ran all the tests on my tank and found that the SG is at 1.020. The few fish seem to be doing alright and so do the existing inverts, but I would like to increase this to match my other tank which is at 1.024.
How can I do this without hurting any of the inhabitants? Would replacing the evaporated water with salt water be ok. For my 55 that seems to be about 1 gallon a week.
Thanks.

should be ok... i think the technical speca are .001 per day or maybe every 12 hours... if you go slow the fish will be ok
