That was my ORIGINAL idea.
BUT it was going to be in a 40gal breeder tank. I would have sand start from the bottom left and work all the way up higher then the water on the right..then add some kinda small wavemaker in the water. but it would have cost ALOT and my sand would have eroded away pretty fast. so it would have been to difficult.

was this custom built and all? or was it somethng u bought?
also this isnt any different then a reg tank right? just being able to look down in it makes it a lagoon..?

i had the tank built from a LFS guy..i built everything else myself. so its all custom

Very Nice! But you may want to watch out for the firefish, because if you didnt know already they are known jumpers.

i would love to have that but with a 2 yr old mine would be filled with matchbox cars and legos instead of corals and fish lol... one thing i would do though is put up even like bamboo blinds just below the tank all around . that way it will cover the 2x4s but yet still allow easy access if u need to get under it and still maintain the beach theme

i have a green rock anemone. I dont want any others because I am not taking any chances of it walking around stinging my corals.
