I was thinking about this from a different point of view. You may not have picked your men based on looks but I bet you have with your fish even though they have bad attitudes

Hmmm catch 22 there or no? (its 500am and I'm tired but just figured how we get sucked into this hobby pretty much based solely on looks and appearance)

LOL...Actually not true...I had such a bad experience with a cichlid tank, they were so pretty head and shoulders above the bland colors of regular freshwater fish. I was talking about trying saltwater because I liked the nice colors. A fellow at work said saltwater was too much work and had suggested cichlids...they are aggressive he said but really nice fish.
Well they killed everything including each other...I flushed the last one out of revenge... and from then on...
the FIRST question I check off my list when I get a fish...is it a good community fish? From fresh to now saltwater...if it isn't a friendly docile fish it has no place in my tank. The critters funtion in the tank is the 2nd question, the adult size is the 3rd, and pretty is the 4th thing on the list.

Oh don't get me wrong. A nice butt is always worth checking out! Shoulders, backs, all that stuff, and as women we will enjoy a nice view, but that's not usually the men we end up dating.
I can still spot nice butts and all those physical attributes, but those are the guys that I really don't care what their personality is, as he is only temporary eye candy.
