introducing clownfish to a tank

Can 2 false percula clownfish that are not a mated pair be in the same tank, if introduced at the same time?

Yes. IME, It tends to work better if one is bigger than the other. They will co-exist and could end up being a mated pair like mine are now.

dont have to worry to much about perculas being mean to each other as long as there is only 2 in a tank, and also percyulas tend to be around the save size with male and females, the male will only be slightly smaller not like maroon clowns where the male is normally half the size of the female

Adding 2 Ocellaric Clownfish will usually end with a bonded pair unless they are both female.

if they are both females then normally one will be killed, but they can change back. but normally the dominate female will kill the other befor it has a chance to change (some people belive clowns when they are female can never go back to male, that is not ture at all as both of my mating maroons used to be female)

Most literature specifies that once a Clownfish has transformed to Female she can never again become a functioning male. Just because it's in print doesn't make it true but I believe most of the scientific research backs it up.
