Iodine and ID please

I just added my first two corals, but my LFS couldn't give me the proper names.
Can you please take a look?
Also, he sold me some iodine, but it seems the reviews here are mixed. Any opinions given these two corals? I don't want to dose my tank unnecessarily.

also, any care suggestions are much appreciated.

Both live off light and are easy to care for. Regular water changes and low nitrates and you will be successful. Top picture are some zoos( button polops) and the bottom appears to be Florida ricardia (Mushroom family)
If you are doing regular water changes you do not need to add the iodine. If you still are going to add it make sure you purchase a test kit. Iodine is dangerous if over dosed.

Top looks like Protopalythoa - a Zoanthid.
Bottom looks like Rhodactis - A mushroom.
Nothing wrong with maintaining 0.04ppm of Iodide and 0.02ppm of Iodate as long as you test frequently and never dose without knowing the exact level in your water.
Overdosing can be fatal for crustaceans.
There is no biological effect between dosing and not dosing so I'll leave it at that.

I agree with bang on maintaining an ideal iodine level. but I never test nor do I dose with iodine. I do however dip my corals in iodine, when I first get them, and when or if I see a decline in health, which isnt often but has happened in the past.

Do the ones on the bottom have a skeleton(hard part)? While I agree it looks like a 'shroom, it kinda looks like blasto too.

they are stuck on some live rock, but don't have any stony parts of the animal itself.
