Then they somehow look dumbfounded about it, scratching their heads and wonder why people come down on them soo hard. Plus not to mention, that as you said they dont listen anyways. They then go post the problem again, in another room, hoping that someone will side with them. Being that all they really are looking for is someone to be on their side to say that it wasnt a bad choice to buy that fish or something to that sort. Or how about the ones that know that particular fish dont do well in small tanks but say they bought it and that they will eventually are going to upgrade but not now, they dont have any money to do so. (and yet they had money to buy the fish) I understand that this is a place to learn something about aquariums and reef keeping, but if they ask and insist on ignoring the advice thats given and their ignorance needlessly kills a fish, they should be banned. They are certianly not interested in getting educated or have any respect for the livestock and its requirements, but more in here to see what others think and have the "well, i am going to do it anyway" attitude. These are the same people that after a few months/years, give up and say that everythign died and the store sold them sick fish or didnt tell them that it didnt get along with the fish that they already have. They throw the blame on others instead of looking in the mirror and taking responsibility for their stupidity. Not to mention the people that come in right behind you and try to discredit your statement that someone may have asked and you have given an answer to but yet, failed to give any advice themselves. Its as if they bash it because when "they" tried it, it didnt work for them, so it must not work. Its also amazing to see that those same people have aquariums much like the ones in the photos or are in other rooms asking the questions 'will this fish get along with the fish i just bought?" or I cant figure out why evrything is dying in my aquarium, all i have is 7 fish in a 30 gallon" something to that effect....You know, the same people we are talking about.....
Whom exactly are we talking about? You started this thread about a tank that was so "horrible" which could be easily corrected. You charge $50/hr to clean this tank, now you are rambeling about people that are on this site that make mistakes and ask questions. Did you find this picture online or is it a friend of yours'? That tank doesn't look like it is in a store to me being there is a cabinet right next to it and some crap hanging on the wall. I have no problem at all with people that ask questions. People make mistakes. The only way to go forward after the mistake happens is to correct it as best you can and not to repeat the mistake.
