They will get along fine...as long as you have enough food to sustain the 2 of them....both eat lots of pods...and stuff

yes as Meowzer said they are compatible, however you better have a fuge, a large amount of LR, or be able to supplement pods for them because those and other microorganisms is all they will eat.
P.S. Meowzer... Love the new bunny ears! lol

unless, you could always try to wean them on to mysis, but even then its a good thing to have plenty of pods in the tank

FWIW, IME, mandies will eat the occasional FW, but they don't really LIKE them all that much. it seems they don't taste very good, as the mandy would kinda go "p-tooey, P-tooey, P-TOOEY!" whenever it sucked one in.

I have a buddy that has had both in a 55 for awhile but he gives them plenty of pods. He has had them for about a year and still when he feeds his other fish with pellets and flakes, those two fish ignore it.

Did he eat frozen from the start or did you train him to? My mandarin seems to be happy eating around all the rock. I have a ton of rock in my tank but I worry about the population of PODS. I have dumped about 3 bottles in the tank.
OOOOOPS sorry for the hijack. Kinda on topic.

Hey, just so everyone knows....you can use a med called prazipro to dip your corals in to kill any flatworms or their eggs that might arrive on your frags. I know this guy who uses it, and he has mostly sps, beautiful tank, no flatworms!
