Is Chemipure OK?

I just bought two "units" of Chemipure for my 90 gal. I placed them in my Fluval 505?.... I already noticed that my protein skimmer doesn't draw as much dissolved organic stuff as before.....
Anybody with long term experience with that product?
My tank is crystal clear..... dayly maintenance LOL!
Thanks...

The Elite just has a phosphate remover in it. But it wears off much faster than the carbon does.
Personally, I still run the elite, unless I can't find it and then I just get the regular, but I also have a phosban reactor.

I have used it in the past, but I am cheap and always switch back to a cheaper carbon. I might have to look into a bag of the regular for my small tank.

My protein skimmer doesn't pull anything or darkish color since I have added Chemipure....
What does that really mean?

Your water is clean. The chemipure is pulling out/neutralizing (I can't really find the correct word right now) the organic waste.

About that is max. Depends on your bio load. The more you have, the more often you should change it. Even if your load is heavy, I'd say you could stay around 4-5 months and be safe.
