Is everyone equal in heaven?

For those religious individuals who believe in that glorious afterlife --
So when you do pass through those Pearly Gates, is everyone equal as far as social status, or do they still 'hang out' based on their notoriety and fame they maintaned while on Earth? Can I 'talk' to the Pope, John Lennon, Elvis, Jim Morrison, Princess Diana, JFK, or even Hitler?

Well, I would like to think so. If we're all special and equal in His eyes, then why should we be divided into cliques? I think that we would all intermingle and get along joyously.
But..to each their own.

At first read, my thought is "no"...I'd have to do some digging, but there is something in the Bible about this based on your works on earth. I don't think it's based on "social status" but it did have something to do with level, rewards, etc.. But knowing your threads, I doubt that you are really wanting to dealve into this question, rather just start a bickering match,,,yes?
As far as your list of requested meets, I don't know that any of them would be there to greet you....maybe the Pope, but that's questionable.

No not everyone is going to be equal but your not going to have the same mind set as you do here on earth. You wont have the earthly mind but the pure mind of innosence.
Matthew 5:19
Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
It also talks somewhere about us throwing our crowns to the feet of Jesus or God or something cant quite remember that one

Hey, I'm curious. So why would only the Pope be available for our 'spirits' to 'intertwine'. You don't think Elvis, Morrison, or Lennon would be 'admitted'? Based on lil.guppy's comment, there seems to be some 'rankings' with our pure minds...

Yes, everyone is equal, just like President Obama wants things to be here in America....No matter how hard you work.

You might be able to talk to them... but the real question should be... do they want to talk to you?
Otherwise it's like watching TMZ and just a bunch of people harassing "famous" people.

Colossians 3:10-11
10)And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11)Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
The New Testament teaches one must accept Christ as Saviour to enter the Kingdom of God-putting on the "new man".

BTW, the above scripture disproves the errant claim that God is ok with slavery. The book of Philemon is not about "serving your master" as an acceptance of slavery; it is basically an acknowledgement of the Roman practice of slavery and telling Christians how best to treat one another in such a horrible system. Freeing slaves, at that time, would have just put the servant in a potentially worse situation. It is clear in Heaven, and Earth, all men are equal.

You would have a better chance of talking to those 3 at a ghost gathering at Hard Rock Cafe'.

So apparently you don't think these three individuals spirits are in Heaven. So exactly what were their 'sins' that kept them from getting there? These were just three names I pulled out of a hat. How about John Wayne, Eisenhower, Lincoln, Grant, Gene Kelley, Joan Of Arc, William Wallace, etc.?

All depends on the belief of the individual.
Not trying to cause a riot here but each person has a fantasy land they create. So for arguments sake everyone that answers is correct based on they cannot be proven otherwise..
Each person can have a unique belief so this can go on forever.

Hey Hitler might be in such a place, all depends on what you personally believe and who is writing the laws you follow.
Now I am not tryin to defend the Hitler himself, but based on this line of thinking it leaves ANYTHING possible depending on who is asked.
Given the situation, Hitler could be just as much a part of the fantasy as anyone else.

This would be a crazy hijack but again I ask to be humored.
At last second some monster like Hitler is redeemed through accpeting JC and then WOULD go to heaven by most Christian definitions. A stretch but let us just say sure..it happened.
So now can you casually have coffee with him and discuss what he was thinking? Obviously he would have gone through a change and now ACTUALLY been redeemed. no acting or BS.
Would you feel comfotable having the cup of coffee with him? Since most people say that only God can judge, then so now would you just say. "OK...Adolf please pass the sugar"?
