If you turned off you lights, anemones will usually close up. Mine does it all the time, usually in a hour it should open back up.

It doesn't look too good......you can see the icky in it's mouth, and at the back it looks like some if it has come out.....Watch it closely...if it seems like it is starting to disintegrate...get it out....Don't try to move it.....just leave it for now

Well, i moved his rock up towards the lights, seeing my lights are not the best for it in the first place, and then i gave it some marine snow, then put my powerhead towards it for some better flow. All things my mom said i should do cause she just got one as well. and it looks like this now..

Looks better there.....As I said...just watch it....only feed it if it is open, and meaty foods are better. I feed mine small pieces of scallop.....try a pea size and see how it does with that

They tend to close up and look sickly when they are expelling waste (pooping) as well as when the lights go off. If it is new, try not to move it too much. For the first week, they are very stressed out and very unhappy. If they don't like where they are, they will find a place. If you notice it moving around a lot, then it means there is something wrong with either the water quality, or the lighting, and that is when you want to take action. Otherwise, feed it regularly, and let it do it's thang! ;-)

I feed mine nothing. In fact, they keep multiplying and taking over. Leave it alone and it will find a happy place..........

I feed mine 1 pellet of fish food and it always seems to take. Maybe you should try and change your food to see if it will take. I'm not and expert on anemones I can only offer what I know about mine.
