Beth I don’t want to hijack BUT since this I my thread I think I will. A few years ago I was literally told by you if I did not follow rules on the boards I should go somewhere else. I did then and do now respect what you said at that time. I respect you more as a person of conviction for this post
Well, not sure what all is involved in addressing the issues of this new forum. The IT people can't replicate the issues, because they don't experience the issues on their pcs. My advise is to go to another computer to check it out.
SWF has been a part of my life for 10 years, and I hate to see us loosing members and guests just because of an upgrade, and resulting major glitches that continue on for an extended time.

How wierd that IT can't duplicate the issues...I have 2 computers at home, and one at each job.....and on each one of these computers I experience the same problems....
I have downloaded Firefox on all of them since it is a little more compatible with the recent upgrade...it took less than 5 minutes...so I don't understand why someone would be so against doing this....
..it's no big deal

There are some members here who have not exp. the issues on IE...though, unfortunately, most have.
Probably many members who come here all the time have done it, if they are even aware of FF. Others, new people, causal visitors, why should they download another browser to just deal with SWF forum issues? They won't.

I gave up on IE years ago and use firefox for everything. Try it people, it is way faster and more secure.

What issues are we talking about now anyways. The search feature is the only bloop, but other than that have had none of the issues from any of the puters I use while using chrome, IE and firefox. What am I missing?

For me, its all the same issues. Nothing has been resolved.
Can't start a new topic
Can't go to advanced posting
Can't search
The pictures are still links, but I have slowly been laboriously and manually going through stickies and Archives to fix this myself.
