Is it time to close the Aquarium ?

i think the length and intensity of this thread proves that the aquarium is worthy of its existence. just b/c pple say things we dont like, or misbehave and have to be sicked upon by the mods, doesnt mean the rest of us should be bereft of this great place of conversation and community.

Actually, on second thought, if the Aquarium WAS closed, I'd get sooooo much more work done. More work done... more $$$... more fish...

I don't think they should close down the Aquarium. There is still alot of good people on here and a lot of fun topics to enjoy.
Maybe they start a new forum called the Shark Tank for those who want to continue with the political, racial tension, insults and personal attacks. They can duke it out there.
The rest of us could avoid that forum and still enjoy the Aquarium. If anyone posts anything in the Aquarium that's too provocative, the mods could move it over to the Shark Tank. (Thank you mods for all your hard work).
Just my 2 cents.

Close this forum down? I withhold my vote.....I want to hear more from both sides before casting my vote....this is a huge decision and need to know what this will do for me.

Yeah I don't think it should be closed down, just taken off the page you get when you use the new posts button at the top of the page here. Then all of the, ummmmm, crazies will be kept of the general page so that it can be dedicated to those things reef.

Just to bump it up to the top of the list.
When you drive through a subdivision and see windows open on houses, this doesn't mean you have to climb through the window or that windows have to be closed just to keep you from climbing through.
I left this window open, you can choose to climb through it or not

There has been some discussion about adding more moderators. If that occurs, then we'll have some more help in keeping an eye on things.
Members can always PM one of the mods with problems.
