Is my peppernin shrimp expecting???

I have two peppermint shrimp one has a cream colored sac on its side right above its legs could it be pregnant????

doubtfull.....i think shrimp keep their eggs under their tails..

Yep, they store the eggs in their pleopods.
Before they lay their eggs you can see them as a green area behind their head.

I agree with bang all the way and i to have noticed the green spot in their head area before they lay the eggs.

A LFS told me earlier this week when they lay their eggs that the mother/egg layer dies...
Is this true?

No. They lay eggs about once a month and live for years.
