I thought it was during the day because ph fluctuates at night when the lights go out, but I read somewhere the other day that the time to drip kalk is at night when the lights go off. which is right?
Typically, at night, algae switches from consuming CO2 to respiring CO2. If you drip your limewater at night it will have more available CO2 to convert hydroxide to bicarbonate.
