Is this cyano?

my 90 has been up for a month now. Does this look like cyano? I have two Koralia 4's, my sand is very fine oolite and if I point them toward the bottom too much it creates a sand storm in there. Is there any snail or crab that will clean this for me? I have some hermits, turbos and astreas. A total of 10 snails and 10 blue leg hermits.

I don't think that is cyno. cyno is red and like slimes off of your sandbed...like waves in the 'waves'. if you can picture what im saying. it looks like red slime flowing in the wind. as far as i know that brown stuff is normal for a brand new tank. correct me if im wrong guys...i don't really know what that kind of algae is called...maybe just brown algae.

Diatoms....get yourself some nassarius snails and some cerith snails, and that will help....

Diatoms. I can always tell when my snail population gets low because it starts in my tank also.
