I also had it in my last fuge and also in the new one. I have had it on and off for 3 years now in the fuge but has never spread to the display. When ever I start to see it getting out of control I throw a couple mexican turbos in there and they take care.

i just read that on the other thread, im gonna stop tom. and pick up a few mexican turbos and toss them in there see if they can clear it up.

So Zippy...does that look more like what you have? Sorry about all this back and forth about cyano

it does look more like the red cotton algae ... i just picked up a couple mexican turbos so we'll see how that goes.
