ive noticed this thing that past couple days, and always wonder if its just part of the rock, or if its actually something like the acans and such, any ideas?thanks

i dont really know...its circular like seen in the pic, looks like it has a blueish pink/purple tint ...has some pimple type bumps on it...here is another foggy pic...i dont think it looks like the rock, but i didnt know if that means its anything live or not.

yeah i deff see it but its hard to say does it appear to be a hard coral or some sort of small richordia or something?

i dont think its a ric......unless they are super diff when small from pics i see....ill try to get a specific pic of it tomorrow, these are just older pics of the rock, and then tried to cut that part only, so it wasnt the focused part...and the center of it dips down as well, you can kinda see it in the second pic..but by the colors i figured it must be something

i have not touched it, ididnt want to hurt it or anything without knowing what im touching....i really dont think its a ric...it doesnt have the little bead things....could it still be that even though? and it looks like a donut...i dont know, i'm a skeptic i guess...or maybe i just want it to be something other than a mushroom,lol

i think later today i might try to feed it a mysis shrimp and see what happens...if a shrimp doesnt interfere

well i put in mysis shrimp and closed up for sure, then i pushed it some with the tubing and it has a harder outside and softer underneath i believe....its pretty sweet!!! just wish i knew what it was,lol.

i was thinking it was a type of brain but with the last pic i'm not so sure. But either way i think it's pretty awesome.
