The world we live in does not work this way... Nations and conflicts have global ramifications.

I am in 100% of Israel. As a Jew I was brought up with the idea that Israel was a Jewish refuge that should be protected at all cost. Our people have been persecuted for thousands of years. We need to protect the only Jewish country in the world. If I wasn't in collage right now I would go and fight alongside my fellow Jews (I still might after collage).

Israel isn't totally blameless in a lot of stuff that has gone on but in this case they are 100% in the right.
I think Israel should just level the area back far enough from their border that rockets fired from the remaining residential areas wont have the range to hit any Israeli cities.

+1 in addition the USA could provide them with anti missile defence systems.We have many of them .From the Armys version of the Navy's CIWS Phalanx anti-missile system is called the C-RAM, and is part of that service's Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar initiative to Expanded Response SLAM-ER missile defense as well as the Patriot system that has been upgraded.

This systems do not detect or counter the very short range mortar and rockets Hamas has...

The former International Zone in Baghdad sure got hit a lot by short range IDF for this system to work

For medium and long range where the projectile arcs i am sure it is great.
Im not there but would it be fair to assume that these attacks came from inside 1 mile of the zone.
Israel can create a buffer zone large enough for this system to work.I believe this system needs at least 1 mile to ID and react.
