All these anti threads are getting depressing. How about sharing some Christmas cheer, current or past! Post up your Christmas tree, your Christmas pets, or whatever! Anything but Bah Humbug, please!

NOT rushed this year. We did a lot (like more than 1/2) of our shopping online/catolog.
Very nice. The only drawback was my 17 year old was trying to "help out" with the UPS guy and saw one of his presents! It was kina hard to hide anyway. THe company splayed their name all over the box.

Christmas cards sent-party prep. It is more fun when you aren't in a hurry.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I like walking in my parents front door and seeing the CHRISTMAS tree. All my little cousins running around my house - letting my mom feel like a grandma and give me anxious looks like "why aren't I a grandma yet?" A big juicy ham, cookies, egg nog....Can't wait. As far as presents go, my mother just asked me what I wanted/needed and I really couldn't think of anything besides a big fat check. I'm at the age where I get a few sweaters and a few books, but the check is what I need. No point in having a tank if I can't pay the rent!

Ok, I'll go again. Favorite treats/foods:
Close to the top of the list would be chocolate-covered cashews!

. . . . .Oh yeah, rice crispy treats and "Buckeyes"(I'm from Ohio originally-most other folks call them "peanut butter balls") and butter cookies with icing, peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles, candy canes, and. . . . . .

I love Christmas!! I love Santa!! :jumping: Awesome pic Birdy. My son actually took a treat for Santa one year. Something like chocolate for him and oats mixed with glitter for the reindeer. Santa was touched. Anywho, I have the brightest house in the neighborhood!! I was competing with the Grizwold's!!! It's actually very cheerful and pretty in real life, I cannot gt the pics perfect.

Ok Tizzo's is great, mine is easy and fast to come down. Ha!
Beth, I agree! I love Christmas, the Day and what it stands for, the good nature of people, and giving to someone that is not as fortunate.
