LOL...I always thought of it as monkey see, monkey do. Little ones learn from their parents, but teens...well they learn from each other, and are crazy until about 25.
You know that redicules clothing fad of wearing your pants 4 sizes too large and down to the knees with the underwear out...gang members thought it up to try and stand out from non-gang members, and no matter how stupid they dressed the kids around them thought it was a new style and copied them. Now kids everywhere are wearing it. If you ever want a real laugh, just watch Mr. cool try and walk up the stairs with those pants on like that.

Oh my god thats funny. My step son wears his britches that way and I take every opportunity to wedge his little a$$. He hates it but not as much as I hate looking at his underwear. He even does it with sweat pants and thats where I draw the line.

Yeah, I remember that fad.
Emma just got her shots a couple of days ago. Today should be the last day she is "sick like"
I am so freakin sore from work yesterday and sleep deprived from a sick baby. If I say something off, I will blame it on that.

Thanks sip.
She is growing fast! She is now 12lbs 6oz.
She is picky as all get out too. She complains when she wants to sit up, or when we turn the tv off. Lol. She is learning so quickly. I bet anything she will start walking in 9 months.

Poor thing. I hate the shots. My wife takes my little one to the Chiropractor the same day that she get any immunization shots. We have also chosen to break up the shots (some have up to like 9 different strains per each immunization). I am not sure if it helps, but we sleep better doing that.
I can tell you that my Stella (she is 16 months now) does a LOT better when she is adjusted after shots. But my insurance covers chiropractic care. If it did not I can not say that I would spend the extra $$. My wife would though!!!

Wow, five months has passed since I posted on this last.

These are the most recent pics of her I have uploaded on Photobucket. I am at school right now and don't have access to an iPhone charger to get new pics off my phone. But, I just wanted to update the thread a little bit.
She's still growing like a weed. She's nearly 17.6 pounds now. She is sitting up well and is into everything. She is starting to try to pull up on things to stand - but that should still be a couple months away. She is only 7 months old right now. She is learning to hold things with both hands and can even pass an object from one hand to the next. She's saying Momma and Dada but I don't think she knows quite what it means just yet. BUT, yesterday I asked her "where's momma?" and she turned her head towards her. lol. So, I'm unsure. She's finally starting to hold her bottle really well and understand that she needs to keep holding it. (Yeah, lots of trial and error and teaching.) She also is starting to watch a little TV and be interested in some of the educational videos we put on for her. She's on stage 2 solids right now, and gets in about a can a day of foods. No teeth yet, but she seems to be teething/drooling more within the last week than ever before. We have her "bed trained" where she will go to sleep in her own bed - and we have her on a pretty good sleep schedule finally. BUT, she always wakes up at 5AM for a bottle - so that keeps us going to bed as early as her sometimes. lol. Anyways, for now -- life is good.

She is so beautiful!...a little baby rice mixed thin into a bedtime bottle would fill her up to sleep a wee bit longer in the morning.
