My daughter is 9 and I told her the other day that I need to go buy some chains to lock her in her room and keep her away from the boys.

yeah... i can't deceive him at all... even stretching the truth... for some reason i can lie to everyone around me (i'm a great liar...) except him... it's like that play where the guy kills someone and burys him under the floorboards... his guilt causes him to hear the heartbeats and he finally turns himself in because he can't take it anymore... that's what happens to me. I constantly think about the secret or lie until i have to "confess" it to joe...
and that's the whole basis of joe's lack of desire for kids... he doesn't want to have to share his toys.

hmmm... joe's not a drinker... this will take some serious bribery... You know, he wanted our kids (if we ever have them) to call him Joe... he said they'll respect him more because they'll look at him as an equal.. i was like "you dumbass, they won't respect you more... they'll not respect you at all!"... so i had to buy him 5 movies to get him to agree to 'dad'
then, a few weeks ago, i had to buy him a printer/scanner so he wouldn't get this creeeeepy tattoo...
who knows what this will take! I might have to buy him a 2nd home in maine or something!!!

my daughters first word was my name... although she was speaking jibberish you could clearly hear it... my kids call me by name every once in a while in jest, but I would have to agree that Dad gets a little more respect...
I have a buddy that up until recently I didnt know his dad was his dad because he called him by his first name... his dad hangs out with us, plays sports with us and acts like a little kid...lol

Thanks JD!!! Why is it men get called things like husky or built and us girls get called big boned or just plain FAT!!! LOL You know girl, I have 3 and am willing to share the wealth. Any time you want a kid break, I am willing to send them your way. My 6 year old son would idolize your man, I just know it. Any man who loves toys as much as he does, is his idol. And the 18 month old, well lets just say there is never a dull moment. Of course, you could escape with my 9 year old daughter and go shopping.
As for the name thing, Caeden (the youngest) calls me mommy all the time but if my man isn't listening to him, he yells NICK!!!! at him. As for the way to convince Joe, my dear, you are forgetting the biggest asset you have honey. You just pull the abstinence is best in the relationship. AFter all, why have --- if there is no outcome. :hilarious I bet you'd have him begging for kids within the week.
