) girl. Just think of all the cool new friends you will be able to put in that 180. Heck, if you want to fill it up right away, just let the kids use it as a swimming pool for awhile. Now that would be a good way to cycle the tank!!! :cheer:

Hey Rber! Well, I helped my big bro move over the weekend and then I went and hung out with my oldest sister and my brother in law and my niece and nephew. I woke up yesterday with a small fever, and a little headache, so I went to school and it got really bad, so I came home. I wake up this morning and I had a fever of 104!! And my head was pounding and my whole body hurt, so thats why I am not at school right now. URRGGH! I HATE BEING SICK!!

OH NO!!! Thats so sad!! So everything died as you were moving it?? That seems strange, because when I moved my tank, the only thing I lost was a cleaner shrimp, and I could have avoided that...but when I had my protein skimmer/power strip incident, it tripped the breaker, so my heater wasnt on for who knows how long and my water dipped down to 69!! I am so sorry to hear this...but I am glad to hear u are staying in the hobby.

My friend had the same thing happen in his tank. Sea Urchin died in the nighttime.....everything dead the next day.
I loved my little hippo. HE/She was actually growing at a decent rate. That's why we invested in the 180.
Just want to go home and lay in bed and not do anything.

Oh Emp, that sucks!! I sure hope this is a short lived illness. Sounds like you had a good weekend. So how many brothers and sisters do you have? How old are the niece and nephew? I do feel so honored that you are willing to sacrifice your rest to hang out with us on here though.
Kelly-don't worry, you'll get excited again especially if you go visit the LFS on a regular basis for some more moral support.

Yeah, it sucks with a capital S!!! I have 3 sisters and one brother and then me. My nephew is 6 and my niece is 2 but will be 3 on March 7. I can't sleep, I slept all day yesterday and all last night, and now I cant sleep. LOL! Go figure!

So you are the cool uncle then. When my first niece was born, I was only 13 i think, so I was and always have been the cool aunt coz i'm not that much older than her. Her and I go shopping together. Very fun.
