Can someone just send me a couple pounds of venison jerky? My wife stopped at a Buckee's last weekend coming back from Houston, and they wanted $15.00 for 1/4 pound!

We've got so many white tails grazing and sleeping on our property, I've been tempted to do a midnight strafing run with a bow to "thin the herd". A co-worker actually had a white tail jump his fence last year in the middle of the night. He heard it hitting the fence trying to figure out how to get out. Before the deer could jump back over, he opened his back door, and got a clean shot with his bow. He said he had the deer strung up, gutted, cleaned, and skinned before the garbage trucks showed up the next morning. He said the garbage men didn't even bat an eye at the double-bagged remains they were tossing into their truck.
