in 2009 the cost to operate an electric was the equivalent to as if gasoline was 75bored cents per gallon. electricity cost has gone up since then...roughly 25%. now if all cars were eledtric...how much would it cost? as demand goes up...so will the cost. electricity has nev er gone down in price in my lifetimd. gasoline has. the fuel cost savings will eventually disappear...and it will greatly drop the cost of gasolinne in doing so. so take the cost aspect out of the equation and what is the overall advantage?

i am sure this is different region to region......my point.......as more and more electricity is in demand due to auto travel by electricity...can we honestly expect the money savings in energy cost to remain?

CNG is probably the next big thing. There are some quick fill stations around here but you can get a filling station for your house. It's slow but there are never any road taxes added to it that way. If you get a car or truck and convert it you can run gas or nat gas with the flip of a switch. I am going to llook into it for my new pick up.
