It's for the 10G......I already have a bubble coral that is fluorishing with the 50/50 bulbs I have in the hood
I have some kenya, colt, shrooms and zoas.....I was thinking of MAYBE using this tank for more options like frags....and some of the frags would be sps, or just things that need more light then the fluoresents can give
I did see a 20" Nova Extreme Pro for sale "somewhere" LOL...not sure if it still is....BUT I'm also not sure if it is MORE then I may really need
I really DO NOT wnat to use the 24" on it....just don't like the idea of the overhang, and a 20" will fit perfectly in the cabinet too
OH YEAH....the 20" NE Pro has individual controls...so I can run the actinic and whites separate....I LIKE THAT

WELL I just got my new/used outer orbit 24" MH T5 light that I am gonna put on the 54G.....IT'S WIDE....LOL....my little satellite dual is 7" wide...this light is 15"
The light is in EXCELLENT condition, and all lights work......I will probably put it on tomorrow.....Don;t think I am gonna hang it until I am 100% sure that I am keeping it....I don't want to put brackets on my ceiling if I don;t have to....LOL

If you are talking about the SPS and zoas....they come tomorrow.....AND GUESS WHAT...because he did not ship it the day he said he would I am getting free Dirty Mary Cherry zoas....LOL

Were you able to pick the bulbs out or do they come with standard bulbs for SW.

I'm jealous of the stuff that you are getting. I would love to get into the more exotic looking corals but I think I am going to hold off on any new additions for my tanks. I now know for a fact that I will be moving in a year.

It's used, so it came with bulbs...the MH is a 20000K Odyssea...and the T5's are Wave Point....2 Blue wave , and 2 reef wave (whatever that means) LOL
They are not that old so I am gonna just use them as they are for now......THIS IS GONNA sound really crazy.....IN A MONTH I may be getting a different light....LOL...got an offer on a DIY LED made for a 54G corner bow that I can't pass up.....SOOOOO I'm gonna use this for now....then probably sell it....LOL

hmm not bad....have u tried it with the mh? I havent heard many good things about the oddysea bulbs or the mhs....once i put the ati bulbs in i will never go back! Do u know how many watts u have there btw? Like is it just a 70w mh? just a curious george here! This was free???!?!?! I want a sneak peak pic with all the lights.....mh are only supposed to be on for like 4hrs right???? lol sry rambling

LOL...NO it wasn't free...I bought the light used...the bulbs were in it.....
I have not tried the MH on the tank yet....I will tomorrow for a short time....It is a 150W 20K....I also like ATI, and if I were to keep this light I would go with Phoenix 14K probably
I have to acclimate the tank to these lights anyway, so I am not worried about new lights for it....and as I said.....I am probably switching to a DIY LED fixture in a month
