well i went to the petstore to get 5 gallons of saltwater, and maybe a powerhead....ended with that. and a puppy, lol. My fiance was with me and she saw the little guy, and asked to play with him....might as well have signed my name right then, haha. It is a mix between a pekingese and beagle...he's is just under 4 months old(bday nov 28) His name is Bailey. :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: we love the little guy to death...training him right now to go outside....haha, and i just put him to bed...i had to lay down with him so he would go to sleep instead of moaning all night....haha, good ol Bailey!

That is one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. I had to send this link to my wife. Now I am sure she will have me on a plane tomorrow to go to that store and see if there are any brothers or sisters available. You could save me the time and just go get them and ship them to me. Might even throw in a crisp ten dollar bill for your troubles.

Hey Darth...
How difficult are great danes??? how much space do they need??? are they okay indoors???
my eX just bought one for our kids...her back yard is approx 20' X 40'... her house is 1300 sq ft... I told her she was making a mistake that the dog would be TO FREAKIN BIG for the amount of space she has... BWDIK I am just her "Stupid eX"...

yeah... if you want a dog for kids, get a golden, or a lab or something... even a bull mastif (sp?) (if it's the big dog thing she likes...) but a great dane is not for kids!!!
J(knows your ex made a mistake)D

cute puppy Bronco!!!

They are over grown lap dogs. They are GREAT with kids. not overly hyper. But will eat you our of house and home.
Of all the dog breeds these are the best in my opinion. Big enough to intimidate a prowler, but gentle enough not to hurt anyone. I have never had mine attack my kids. And they crawl on them all the time. The dogs just take it and actually will coral my 2 year old the dog park to keep other dogs from runni8ng into or going to close to my son.
but with three of them I go through 50 lbs. a week of dog food.

what about the amount of space... wont a dog that big be kinda cramped in the space she has provided???

uhhhh... all i said is that their tails will hurt the kids if whipped, and therefore it might not be a good choice for a dog with small children... i never said they weren't good with kids, they're very sweet dogs, but like you said, they're overgrown lapdogs which can be bad when mixed with youngins
J(darth likes to torture his kids with his choice of dog)D
