Well then I guess it was well deserved.
that was really nice of them.
It was, and all the money I got working I gave to my dad for fathers day. Another fathers day is a ways away it doesn't hurt to give a gift early.

Nice tank time to do some planning. It does not seem to be drilled. Did it come with any equipment below ?
No it didn't come with any equipment. It is not drilled so (me and my dad are working on this as a father and son project) we were thinking drill 4 holes. Two in each corner and put an overflow box around it. Put then I remembered the DIY pvc overflows. They are cheaper and seam easier. Any thoughts?

I think you might as well drill it now. You don't want to fill it up and then change your mind when it's too late. If you don't mind the PVC, then go for it, but drilling it will be better/nicer in the long run.
That's assuming it's not tempered, and you feel you and Daddio can handle. If you think there's a chance that you may break the glass, then don't bother. If you're confident, then go for it.
I don't think the fact that it's easier should be a deciding factor though. Just because it's a 1 time inconvenience.
How old are you?

Yea, me neither.
Maybe it's the fact that I made a ghetto overflow box made out of two $1 plastic food containers. LOL.

I am 100% with Woody on this. A drilled tank is the way to go. Over flow boxes inside the tank are far safer IMO. If the op is concerned about drilling it with his dad they should look into taking the tank to a glass shop and have them do it. As woody stated in the long run it is the way to go

Well I am 14 now. 9 years for fresh and salt. Well I am drilling it. We got our first things for the tank, two bulkheads.
Sorry to confuse you guys, we are taking it to the glass store so they can cut it. With this nice of a tank I don't trust us.

If you don't mind, could you tell us how much they charge??
Just wondering, I don't even have a tank to drill.
