Does anyone know anything about a JEBO 180 Protein Skimmer?
I don't think I've ever seen any Jebo stuff except at that bidding place; that tells me plenty! Stay away!
Edit: I just googled it, nothing but bad reviews and questions like yours.

Thanks...I'm just trying to find more skimming than I have, and I noticed this one I had never heard of...I need a HOB, that does not have a million pieces...Like the seaclone (LOL) I have a seaclone 100 and 150 in my 225 tank.

I really don't know of a HOB skimmer that can handle a tank that big; maybe Octopus makes one. I really like Aqua-C Remora Pro as a very easy, effective skimmer. This may do a decent job, even if it isn't "rated" for a 225. The lighter the stocking, the better the results, IMO.
EDIT: if your profile is current, you really need good skimming; if a sump is out; then two good HOB may be the only alternative. But shop around, there may some bigger HOB skimmers out there....I think Tirbofloater may make one.

I have had jebos (3 actually)they never really worked Or worked that well til I modded them out.
Once you modd them out they seem to be great. But as stock they suck.
But I modded the 1 I use for my 55g out and well I have had no complaints. After Increasing the air to water mixture, adding a better powerhead/pump, I really have a good little skimmer for that tank.
Here is a link to how I modded the actual pump.

But like I said If you are going to use it stock. You might as well as dump the money in to a Good skimmer.

I'm not very "creative" so I was looking for something that I can just throw on the tank and use....LOL....So many brands look so complicated.

Aqua-C Remora Pro is truly "plug and Play"; but probably too small for your tank. But that's a really tough area to make absolute statements. Check out Turbofloater; I think they still make an easy HOB that handles larger tanks.

Yup i got ideas... Just buy a recirculating skimmer thay are made to sit in or beside a sump, they are fed by a small pump (MJ1200 would work great) place the MJ in the tank and the skimmer can sit on a shelf beside the tank.Plus when you deside to do a sump you don't have to upgrade.A Octopus DNW 200 Recirculating would work great, there rated for 400gal and there just over $300.

I'm looking at it right now....If I had to put it above the tank it would have to hang from the ceiling...LOL, or from in the attic...it says it is overall 30" tall
