Well I just put the sand in about 2 hours ago. Theres still a little bit of cloudiness. I also have my shrimp in there. Do you guys think the blue leg will survive the cycle? He's so cute and we've already named him (Herman.) Heres some pics...

Looks like the foundation of a sweet nano...definitely keep us posted as it progresses.
A local doctors office is considering getting one for the patient lobby...we've discussed the options and I'm hopeful they'll decide on a 20-30 gal display with furniture grade stand/canopy. I'm excited about the possibilities.....

Cool. I might be getting a new job in a chiropractors office. Maybe I could convince them... :thinking:
Do you think Herman the hermit will survive the cycle or should I take him out?

Another question... How much of a NH3 spike will I get? Im between .50 and 1.0 right now. At what point should I take out the shrimp? Thanks

And with the flash off... The lights are so bright I think my landlord will think Im running a tanning salon out of my apt!
