There's also a deal with chest shots so the brain can be analyses to assess the damage all those hit did over the years. I think Junior was the 3 to do a chest shot in a shot period of time.

There have also been some hockey players who have kind of been linked to this stuff as well. I think the total is up to like 8-9 people who killed themselves in the last few years. All of whom where the tough guys (in hockey) or heavy contact guys (in football). Brain injuries are no joke.
There was someone on the radio today talking about the Junior Seau stuff, he had a concussion and got back to playing a week later (was not ready to return to contact) and got hit again. He suffered post concussion syndrome. He said the symptoms were that he felt mentally numb. Did not get excited or down much. Just kinda there, living in a grey world. This guy got hooked on pain killers and eventually tried to take his own life. His mom found him and got him into treatment. He got the post concussion syndrome under control and feels normal again. But it just goes to show you that these athletes might have other issues going on. I think that shooting yourself in the chest is one huge red flag.
This is the 8th guy to die on the 1994 Chargers team. Crazy!!!
