Sorry Dwight :(
The vendor emailed me last week that the RBTA didn't make past the shipping inspection and said they'd be getting a new shipment over the weekend. Today the other has shipped and I've been tracking it :)
I ended up adding inverts and stuff to the order because it was already free shipping.

It's in the tank!!! Looking smaller than I thought it woudl be and so far the clowns have shown absolutely no interest for it. I got the RBTA today too. The reefer I got it from contacted me yesterday that it had moved in the tank after all and he managed to catch him. That RBTA is absolutely gorgeous and it's in the big tank. Clowns there have shown no interest for it either. Oh well... I'll wait :)
Hopefully I'll get pics soon :)

Here are pictures of the RBTA that I got from a local reefer. He is absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately so far my clowns have shown zero interest for it. My Yellow Tang and FoxFace are way more interested in it

Foot deep in a cave, w/flash:

w/o flash

No good pictures of the other RBTA in the nano.

Very nice Spidey. Looks like a twin to mine. I am really surprised that the clowns are not all over it. This makes no sense, unless they are just scared. My clowns thought I had thrown in the 'clown Goddess' the moment it hit the water.

At least they are very near it. I found the cave for the RBTA within 10 inches from the corner that the clowns hang in. There is a huge frogspawn in that corner so who knows maybe that is their lovie for now. Are your clowns tank raised? Both of mine are and I don't think they have ever seen a *good* anemone other than an old Condy we had way back when.

I'm not sure where my clowns originally came from, as I got them from a reefer on here, who is now out of the hobby. But you raise a good point. But as attracted together as these two species are, I'm sure it won't take long.
You mentioned the proximaty to another coral....I will tell you that I did have early problems with the anemone's tentacles reaching out and touching some of my other corals (mainly a trumpet), and they do sting. My trumpet was almost at the point of death after only a week. I made some rearrangements, but just wanted to point that out.

Very true on the proximity. I figured I'll see where the RBTA ends up before I start moving corals around. He's moved 2 inches so far and stuck his foot deeper into the cave.

LOL... one should assume anemones esp rose anemones are female. Even though they are ase.xu.al, how can you call a beautiful animal like that a he... LOL
Looks very nice spidey. IMO/E hosting seems to be a learned application especially with anemones that are not their natural hosting species.
As an example... I purchased an ocellaris for my tank about 8 months ago. It never showed any interest in my anemone for almost 4 months. Until I added my true perc wild caught, it immediately found the anemone and took to it. The Ocellaris was dominate and gave the TP a beat down that he unfortunately never recovered from, he just would not submit to her. But she threw him out of the anem and took it for herself. I tried once more with a tank raised ocellaris and things worked out well. He took a bit of a beating but sooned realized his place and all is well. He then started to show interest in the anem but she ran him out for about a month. Now they sleep in it together as I feel she taught him what she had been taught. Again JMO....

You are cute

I can see you with your nose pressed against the glass yelling this at your clowns and pointing to the RBTA

You got your Picasso's huh? I will have to see if you posted pictures. You know to see if I have a puppy that matches your clowns that I can send you.

Are you spying on me Scott? I'm sure I can find a greasy nose print on the other side of my breakfast area window.

I do talk to my fish and yes I was pointing that darn broad the RBTA.
If you look around enough you'll see one of my Picasso's (one survived the first shipment) and I haven't taken a picture of the one from second shipment (pair decided to surf my carpet).

Most tend to lose their bubbles after time (when they feel comfortable in their surroundings?)

I talked the owner down from the ripe ol' price of 150 down to 90 bucks...(then he told me he would give me 75 bucks per split of Her!) But thanks for postin the pix, now I get a nice show piece in my tank, will post pix of him when he decides where he likes in the tank! RBTA all the WAY!!!
