I just setup my tank with a float value and I've started dosing Kalkwasser. I had a few question for the experts.;)
1) What are the benfits of kalkwasser? I was told it will help corals and lower phosphates is that true?
2) after adding powder how long should you wait before removing the water?
3) what is the best method of getting water mixture out without getting powder in it?
Thank in advance for all your help.

It will cheaply maintain Calcium and Carbonate in a perfectly balanced 1:2 ratio. The exact ration required by corals. It will tend to precipitate Phosphate out of solution.

I'm sorry I don't understand this question. Add power to what?

Siphon the water out starting a couple of inches above the bottom of the container.

My problem is it is a white buket and kinda hard to tell when it is clear. I waited about 20 mintues and it look prrety good. I poured it in and left the last 1/4 ( will syphon next time should have asked 1st) which was pretty cloudy. Should that be long enough?

After mixing Kalk powder with water you should wait at least 4-5 hours even if it seems to be clear water.

After you mix it let the mix sit over night to settle out and keep the mix bottle sealed or covered up. It will be very clear in the moring and the power on the bottom of the bottle then pour in to the dip bottle do not pour in any of the power or remix this power on the bottom of the bottle. Only add as much kal water as daily replacement water. Hope is helps do a search on this site on kal water there have been many other post that are very helpfull. Salty Star;)
