Excellant, the more you get into it the more you will see the variances of a family of coral down through genus and species levels.
I hope that you do well in your studies so that I can continue to learn from your knowledge.

While you guys were talking about plate corals where I live got hit by the hurricane aftermath! lol Tornatos touched down and there are never any in my are or even close haha. Fences were blown down and roof tops were blown off. My house didnt get hit at all thank god. My buddies house has no fences and power is out because the lines are scattered all over the road. This is normal to you guys specially nissan in florida, but nothing like this happens here lol.

The shell my scarlet usually is in, has a blue legg hermit in it now. Maybe they swaped shells or maybe somone was lunch!

oh no! thats why i was very reluctant to add hermits to my systems. They are so mean! I had one very small hermit kill a large nass snail then he didn't even take his shell! what a waist.

This is a good thread. Nice Tank! I have a few questions.
1. Are to dosing extra Cal for the corals?
2. What media are you running in the cannister filter?
3. Can you post a pic of the back of the tank where the fuge it at?

AHHHHHHHHHHHH just got back from the cottage and I came hoem to about 20% evaperation! SALT CREEP! SALT ALL OVER MY EQUIPMENT AND A BURNT OUT ACTIC BULB!
When I first saw the tank all the corals were fine, then I added some R/O water right away to fill the tank back up and lower the salt concentration, and now all the corals shrunk and look like ----. Do you think there just acclimating again?
