Once the clown (or any other fish) is the same size or bigger, it won't eat it. Which is why I chose to get the dwarf.

I switched aroudn the light bulbs and now its give it more of a bluish colour. But its not a nice mixture of light, cant explain it. Maybe I just need to get use to it.
I'm going to try this way out for acouple weeks see how it goes. I think it'll be better since the daylights will be direxctly on the corals now, so theyll get more usable light.

Okay so..
I want to set up this old 3g (maybe) tank I gave my g.f a long time ago for her gold fish lol. I was thinking mostly filling it with LR and LS for filtration, and putting zoas, and a clown goby and some sort of cool shrimp in it lol. Would I need anything special for the lights? If so what about putting a sun coral in, and putting a blue led for the colour?

LEDS would be strong enough for zoas? Its a really small tank, I dont knwo the gallons yet but when I get it back fro mmy G.F ill figure it out and let you guys know lol.
I was gonna fill it with LR take LS from my tank now, and hopefully that would be good for filtration. Stock it with a cool shrimp, and a gobie of some sort. Zoas or sun croal.

zoas will be nice with a shrimp. but its good to have a HOB filter as well. the LEDs will be that strong if you get a few of them.

Yeah my brotheres an electrition, I think he can get me some materials so I can put together a led fixture.
The tank is acctually for him. But Its mine. lol Its going to be in his room on his shelf, since I dont have anymore room for tanks in my room.
What kind of shrimp? I want to get a cool one like the pistol shrimp or soemthing like that. The shrimp's that look like they're lobsters.

I want something cooler then that haha..
If I can only hav a shrimp i nthere I want something that is fun to watch and interesting to look at. The blood shrimp just looks like a regular shrimp lol.

I was going to get one but then I got the cleanner.
I was thinking about the sexy shrimp, but there so small. Or even the shrimp that ate starfish, forget what they are called. But that would be expensive to keep feeding it star fish.
I cant get a pistol shrimp? Or coral bannded or soemthing like that?
Maybe meowzer will send me her coral banded haha.
