OKAY:D lol
I`m acctually running out of room on my rocks lol.
I had an idea. Instead of always fragging things, cant I let them grow into eachother and the stinging corals will sting the other corals that get to close, so they might stop spreding that way.
Will that work, or noÉ (question mark) haha that è is back!

Hey Kat! Your tank is looking great! It always looks like your tank is bigger than mine until I look at the videos, then I go "oh yeah it's a 10 gallon just like mine!" I agree with meowzer, videos are alot better than pics!
Oh yeah, I glued one of my GSP frags to the back glass of my big tank! I'm hoping to have a "grassy field" behind my reef! I hope it grows faster in there than it has been.
Keep up the good work!

SWEET! Any updated pics
I`m hoping that the gsp spreads on my glass also. Once the xenia starts to grow more im going to attach it on pumps and other things. I want to try to hide everything with corals.

IDK KAT....I would be afraid that if they stung eachother...they would kill eachother rather than just stop growth....

HENRY??????

I would be afraid of it affecting the entire colony and not just the individual polyp (or whatever) that is touching said stinging coral. This would be an interesting experiment! Try it and let us know!

Well they`d kill the individual corals near the stingers, but not the whole colony noÉ
IDK.....I just know as much as this stuff costs (money and time) I don't think I would chance it

Ok... I actually did read this WHOLE thread... Very nice job on the tank. It has come a veryyyy long way!
The reason I read through the entire thread was because I was able to get a very firm grasp on the concepts, ideas and process of setting up a saltwater tank. Your thread has helped me out A LOT!
I'm pretty much in the same boat as you as far as being on a budget. I plan on doing a 30 gallon tank with just live rock, a lion fish and 2 clowns. I have a brand new notebook im using to take notes as I read on the forums (carry it everytime I go scouting at the LFS). I also plan to use the book to keep track of my water tests and water change dates.
Still reading up on fish and researching them. Between the GF, My car and school I will be taking things slow.. lol
Best of luck to you and hope the tank continues to flourish!![qoute]
I'm prety sure u need a biger tank for a lion

From what I've read the dwarf or fu man chu lions need around 30 gallons.
Any other lions need a minimum of 75. I'm still reading but so far all the sources I have checked say the same thing.
