Smart man! Then I can add corals as I make money to buy lights selling corals back to big als and what not!
I was thinking that I wanted a lion fish, but what other fish can go with a lion? I also want some type of schooling fish maybe cromis and and angel, and black and white clowns.....
AND THE LIST GOES ON HAHA.

Posted in hitchhikers section also.

Before I went to bed lastnight I saw a yellow sea cucumber looking creater near my shrooms but then it dissapeard. When I got home today from work I noticed the same little creature and that all my hairy mushrooms are laying in the sand with the mouths ripped out. I got the creature out, and I think its some sort of yellow nudibranch? I think its to small to get a picture of, has anyone heard of these??

MY TANK IS BEING NUKED BY SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everything is acconted for, but all my corals (especially mushrooms) are popping off the rocks or look like they are in bad shape!

Do you think it could have something to do with the little yellow nudi I saw crawling around?? It almost looks like some sort of sea hare all yellow and frills on its back.

WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING??

all parameters are normal but ive only checked ammonia nitrate nitrite so far.. Have some fresh SW being made now. Will be checking other parameters soon.

I got a pic but no way to upload it. I got a new cellphone, and no camera. The little bugger is stilling next to me on my desk in a cup. But the thing is, even after I took it out there was a totally different colony of shrooms that are being detatched from the rock!

All my levels are good, calcium is a little high though. My FS isnt looking to good now, and the zoas have some soft of slime waving off the stalks..

The first pic looks like what I took out but its smoother and alot yellower. It has the same colour as the yellow lab cichlids, and it has the head of a sea hare, and the frills on its back kind of like a lettuce nudi. Its back. has almost like two wings going down it and its frilled.

Its head looks like that (but fully yellow body and all)

Body looks like that yellow thing on the fish.. but when it moves its more like when someone rolls their tongue lol....

Right now it tucked its head into its body area and its in a ball.

What the hell! I'm sorry dude I wish I could help you out, just do water changes for the time being!!! That thing is most definitely toxic though with having such bright colors. My guess is that it's a nudi but finding out what type is going to be hard considering it's one of the most diverse mollusks out there with over 3,000 documented species.

Ya, it sounds like a nudi. You're not going to be able to ID it past that. I've found that all hitchhiker nudis are predatory. Every now and then someone gets an easy to identify benign lettuce nudi. I suspect yours eats coral.

I don't think he's nuking your tank. I would look somewhere else for the cause of that situation.

So I brought the nudi into big als and the guy there said it was harmless nudi that feeds off algae. Heshowed me a pic of one, and it looked like a darker green lettuce nudi?? He also said that he has them in his tanks once in a while(obviously, since it had to have came from their tanks). I still flushed it down the toilet though lol.
