well as far as I can tell the gsp still looks pretty good, I wouldnt worry about the little bit of brown on it. I am not sure what the white stuff is that is on the frag itself though. You might want to turn the powerhead away some, they do like flow but I think that might be to much for it. Its a good sign that you see a little bit of green coming out of one of the stalks. I think its going to be just fine, its just taking a little longer than usual but once it does open up you shouldnt have anymore problems with them and they will grow like crazy! so like I said try moving the powerhead some so its not blasting them directly and see if that helps. good luck, hang in there and keep us posted.

thats good, I am sure you will see more and more open up each day and hopefully they will be a bit happier without the powerhead blasting them and really start to open up! I have a feeling though that when they get going that they are going to try and over take your zoa frag that is on that rock so you might need to move it down the road sometime. Also you might want to keep that rock from touching the other rocks so you dont end up with a tank full of gsp!
I felt bad that I tried to do something nice and that you ended up having problems with the frag but gsp is tough coral so I wasnt giving up yet! Please let me know how it does over the next few days ok.

Dont feel bad you should feel good i like learning new things...as of this morning only the actinics are on so far and i can count 13 that are open but they appear to be smaller than i expected....maybe after the gsp gets comfortable in the tank and opens fully i will move the GSP to an ISLAND rock somewhere in the tank....its easier to deal with than the zoa frags....but thank you and ill keep you updated

can you post more pic's? dont worry its been a while since they have come out so in time they will be a little longer and the more the coral grows the longer the polyps will get. It just takes patience, give it sometime and I am sure you will be very happy with them and heck you cant beat the price!
