Got my BTA Tuesday...Fed 1/4 piece of silverside...did not eat it...Yesterday I gave it about 3 tiny mysis..pretty sure they got eaten...today small piece silverside...did not eat...NOW WHAT? Do I wait a couple of days and give it something? Not sure, please let me know.
Oh yeah...got a new camera...(inexpensive one) once I figure out how it works I'll try to post pics.

I wouldn't worry about it. Give it some time to get adjusted to the tank. Maybe try feeding it Mon.

For some strange reason not known to me, my roses wouldn't eat sliversides, they'd just drop them so I don't buy them anymore.

Thats funny beause the only cyclops I know of is from Greek Mythology, the monster with one eye.
I googled it and got the myghological cyclops. I have no knowledeg of this cyclops food.
But if it is very small like cyclopeze, best for small fish, I's stick with something a little larger like the mysis soaking in selcon or zoe will boost the nutrition for the time being.

In Greek mythology and later Roman mythology, a cyclops (pronounced /ˈsaɪklɒps/; Greek: Κύκλωψ, Kuklōps), is a member of a primordial race of giants, each with a single eye in the middle of its forehead.

I don't think I want to feed that to my anemones

I guess if it says it is good for anemones you could feed that along with something meaty. Plenty of light is important too, but you already know that. Whats the weather like by you? Here it is double digits below 0. Had to run out earlier, oh my god, I thought my eye balls were going to freeze. My feet are still frozen.

LOL, I looked at it, just looks like mushy food..I got a new camera, but haven't figured it out before the battery died, so they are recharging, I will try better pics tomorrow. My anemone has not changed though, has not shrunk up (yay), and has not tried to move off the rock it is on, even tho it is in a container.

That's a good sign. I am in a similar boat w/camera. My computer had an internet malfunction, I was using my son's laptop. He went back to college Saturday and took his computer, dang it, I forgot my memory card in it.

He is coming home for the weekend I just hope he dose not forget it. I need to take pictures!!!

Once I "lend" one of my kids something...I just say goodbye to the item....I never get anything back except maybe a bill....LOL
How come anemones seem so much perkier at night?? It actually has little bubbly tips. I am home for the next 4 days...yayyy...first "PROJECT BUTTERFLY" LOL Bought some netting from the craft dept, and I am going to make some sort of trap...

I don't envy you having to catch that fish!
Their definition if borrow is different than ours. Actually I only have problems with my 18 yr old daughter, the boys (older) are better, then again they don't usually borrow my things, at least I have yet to see them wearing my shoes

Most of my anemones will shrink quite a bit at lights out then expand when lghts come back on in the morning, most expelling is done in the evening usually.

It won't be fun...for us or the fish, lol, But I think this netting idea will work. When my husband gets home from work tomorrow we are going to start, and I am going to have this fish caught by Saturday....(keep your fingers crossed for me)
Since My anemone is still new, and not really in it's real home, I am thankful it is doing as well as it is...every time I either go to be or work, and come back I am almost scared to look, but thankfully this one has stayed puffy...We will see in the morning...have a good night all....

If everything is in check, water, lighting trace elements etc... and it wont eat... then stop feeding it. Its not uncommon to get a finicky eater but it should readily accept most raw marine foods. But never force food upon it as over feeding can be bad for them... good luck.

not to mention that the un-eaten food will foul the water quickly in a tank that is heavily UNDERSKIMMED
