Hey Kevin. I didn't want to ask you on goodwin's thread because, well it's goodwin's thread, but what are your final plans on stock list?

2 percula clowns
1 tiger jawfish
1 pennant fairy wrasse
1 bicolor angel
1 royal gramma
1 green mandarin
1 purple tang
1 kole tang or 1 white cheeked tang
and either a foxface or magnifiscent foxface
I know that I am probably forgetting a couple of the smaller fish but thats pretty much it. Are there any problems with it?

Sorry about there not being any updates. Its a very slow process especially for a teenager still looking for a job
. I did apply for a job however at my LFS so hopefully I get it.

Good luck with the job. I'm trying to get some lawns to mow this summer to keep up with my tank, and it always seems like there is something you need for your tank.

I have some questions about lighting. I plan on getting the Aquactinics Constellation T5 fixture with Geissmann bulbs. I was thinking about getting a combo of 11K aquablue bulbs and some pure actinics (maybe 9 of the 11Ks and 5 actinics. Sound ok?) I was wondering what kind of look will that give me? Will it be very blue, very white, or a little of both? I would like a nice blue actinic look for the sunrise and sunset but I want it to still be blue but mostly white for the middle of the day. Does anyone have either of these lights? If so can you post some pics so I can see what they look like?

Or can I store it under my tank when I am not using it? Also how hard should the water be coming out of the RO water tube and the waste water tube? When I started the RO water was coming out at a very fast rate and the waste water was a fast trickle. Now the RO water is about the same as the waste water, just a very fast drip. Is this normal?
To answer some of your question about RO. Is your unit comes with TDS meter becuase this is really helpful. From what I've learned the output which is the freshwater should come out 000ppm. Which means that there should be no nitrate and phospate comeing of the output. I have an RO unit too but mine is from Kent Manire because I really like the way it;s build. Yes your can hook this system in any water line. I hook up mine up in the faucet. And you get place under your tank if you are not using them. Also I'm not sure about the last two part of your question. Because mine the waste water comes out very slow stead flow and the output which is the freshwater comes out fast drip. Also when you produce water try to let your RO unit run for at least an hour before you start saving the water that way any unwanted stuff that got left over the hose should be able to rise out. Also try to add a DI unit to your system this also help in final stage of the filter. I hope this help you and give sone ideas.
Good Luck and let me know how it goes.

im using those bulbs. i have 3 aquablue and 2 actinics. what you listed will be pretty white. if you're looking for more blue, then go with more blues.

Could you post some pics of your tank with just your actinics on, just your daytime lights, and a combo of the 2 if thats not too much to ask? If that will interupt your tanks light cycle then dont bother. Just a pic or 2 would be nice. Also are the pure actinics white or blue?

I would like my actinics to look like post #8 in that same thread. Any bulb reccomendations?
This is a good question as I like the look of both lighting examples you mentioned. I'm also waiting to see what the experts say. There are three lights I have in mind; two 36" Nova Extreme T5 w/Lunar Lights, two 36" Sunlight Tek Light T5, or the 72" Constellation Series (btw, what size bulb does this fixture hold, two 36" bulbs side by side?). My budget is saying the Nova Extreme.

there really isnt too much of a difference between full spectrum and just the daylight bulbs. full spectrum is pretty white with the slightest tint of blue, and the daylights are a little yellower. heres a pic of just the actinics, it looks much better in person, and i dont think it looks as blue, but thats just me. the second was taken in february and is full spectrum.

I really like the look of both those pics. If what you're saying is that the actinics are a little lighter in person then that is perfect for what Im looking for. Also if that second pic is your "mid day" lighting that is also what I am looking for. So what lights would you reccomend for me? I am getting the Constellation fixture so I will have 14 bulbs to work with.
Az- Yes the Constellation has 14 36" bulbs. They are all 39 watts.

Current is coming out with a 72" Nova Extreme with individual reflectors, so I'm going to wait to see what the pricing is and will more than likely go with that, if it's like what they have now, except now with individual reflectors.

if you want the white of the second pic then go with an even split of pure actinic and aquablue (11k). if you want a little more blue maybe try 8 actinics and 6 aquablue or maybe 6 pure actinic, 4 actinic +, and 4 aquablue. saltnoob started a tank a little while ago and is using the constellation https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/247342/saltn00bs-multi-phase-upgrade-diary/100 what do you think of his combination?

Ya I have been following Saltnoobs thread and its a little too white for me. Thanks for all the help thought WangoTango.
TriGa22- No new updates yet (I know its going pretty slow) but hopefully I'll be getting a job at my LFS soon which should move the process along a little faster and I am more than halfway there to getting my lighting. A canopy design is also in process. So once there is an update there will probably be quite a few of them at one time. (hopefully)
