I love the look of the black sand, but keeping it clean is difficult. My CUC is limited right now... just a couple nassarius snails and an emerald crab. I'm going to pick up some more nassarius snails and some cerith snails next week.

Believe it or not, that frogspawn only has 2 heads on it, although one is in the process of splitting.

OoooooH wow ! balck sand I love it! This is the first time to see the black sadn ina saltwater aquarium. Is ther eany difference than just the regular white live sand?

black sand will make the tank look darker, and it's harder to clean.

blacksand make the coral colors stand out more. while white sand goes with the color. if you put zoas and rics in one tank that has blacksand and the samething in a tank that has whitesand, the tank with blacksand will look much better and more colorful!
