With 80% of the eucalyptus forest being decimated and the other 20% unprotected and on private land, the koalas are facing declining numbers. Many koalas are dying each year due to dog/cat attacks and disease which is being spread very quickly due to living closer together since their habitat is disappearing.
I know that animals all over the world are facing the same problems, but the koalas disappearing just makes me sad.

I was wondering what hbc meant since I missed that part.
Sometimes I wish I could sleep 20 hours a day.

LOL...eat some eucalyptus....apparently that's why...they said it has so little nutritional value, that is why they are so sluggish...they eat it, go to sleep, wake up to eat more...and go back to sleep

kind of a sucky life if you think about it

Koalas don't really affect me much. It's the substantial honey bee decline that bugs me. I loves me some sweetness.

Did anyone actually click on the link? This is not new news... Koalas have been in danger for awhile. I agree that they should be saved. STOP cutting down the forrests! One way to save them...
