My LFS said to eventually feed my Hawaiian Spotted Puffer Krill, right now he eats mysis/frozen leaf greens mixed with brine/ regular brine shrimp/pellets/live worms and he even eats flakes and also frozen algae for my rabbitfish and coral beauty, the dude eats everything he's great
. So anyways if i buy some Krill would any of my other fish eat the krill also you think? i have a Coral beauty a little picky but not to much/Foxface Rabbitfish/Dot Dash Butterfly/2 damsels and 2 perc clowns. I dont want to get my puffer some krill unless some of my other fish would eat it also, unless it's a must i buy him some krill. Also i know he has to wear his teeth down, should i buy him some shells now? he doesn't have any teeth yet. :notsure:

puffers do not have teeth, they have a beak and yes yours has a beak, if you notice it then it is overgrown and that is what you want to avoid.
Feeding puffers krill is one way to wear the beak down because they come in a shell. I don't know why you have a problem buying krill for just one fish, just thaw one krill out at a time and feed it directly to the puffer. no big deal. But don't do it a lot as krill is not that healthly.
Cocktail shrimp with the shell on is good for them (cut up in smaller pieces). another really good food for puffers is clams, crack open the shell and throw it all in, that will help keep the beak worn down also.

I didn't know you can feed Krill singly or as you make it sound, i thought it breaks apart like Brine Shrimp or something and i dont want that happening if my other fish don't eat it. Mine doesn't have an overgrown beak yet but is it to early to start buying him krill and some shells he can use? Or would it be non effective since his beak isn't overgrown yet. better sooner then later i suppose?

I find that difficult to believe but I could be convinced. Have you seen a nutrition breakdown for Krill? It just seems to me that Whale Sharks appear to gain significant mass eating just Krill, as do Blue Whales.
FYI - The Foxface will eat the Krill too.

I am sure it is better than brine shrimp, I guess more a more accurate thing to say would be to be sure to rotate foods as there is not one food that meets all the nutritional requirements of fish.

Dr. Ron did a study of different foods. I did not read the whole artical but this is from a chart he posted...
the order is Protein, Carbs., Total Fats
Brine...........3.1, 2.9, 0.5
Krill.............8.8, 1.1, 3.3
silversides...4.2, 12.0, 2.8
I was thinking the same thing about the whales....
