large pods in my overflow

Those are just amphipods, nothing to worry about. When my tank was cycling, these were all I had to look at and I've grown quite attached to mine. lol I have a couple that are half-inchers. =)

+1.....I have thousands of them.....also some that are 1/2 inchers too

if you look in the overflow at night....LOL....it looks like an invasion

CHances are you've already got 'em. They hide in the rock all day long, and only come out at night for the most part. I can see mine in the rock at night with a red light, and the young are all over my sump. Trust me, you've got them in there somewhere.
