No, I usually leave the skimmer on. As far as the feeding, that all sounds very good. Good luck with him and let me know how it turns out.
I am glad your fish is still eating. Did you figure out what caused it in the first place?

Not QT'ing her. I did QT her for about a month after the fact and didn't treat with anything and she looked fine so I figured she never had it to begin with. A friend gave me a coral beauty and it died in 3 days dur to ich after introducing him to the tank. The other fish started showing signs but it cleared. Two weeks later I added the Regal back and BAM got ich bad.
So, I don't think Regal ever had it and then introduced ich by taking friend's CBA. I would isolate all the fish but I had no luck catching and of them and I attempted for a week.
The CBA never ate and the tang does so I hope that helps her.

Oh, you were talking about a Regal TANG? Ah, I thought you were referring to a regal angel. I thought it was awfully strange that it has ich and is still eating. Makes sense to me now.

No, but I am saying a sick regal angel is not going to eat. It's hard enough to get a healthy regal angel to eat, let alone a sick one.
