Get some nori from your local Jewl or Dominicks and put the on an algea clip. The nori should not be cooked or seasoned......Get it "raw".

After the algae started to dwindle I finally got mine to eat with Formula Two frozen fortified algae cubes. Now he eats everything, eg. frozen brine, pellets, and bits of cocktail prawns.

Tried Nori on a clip and he would and still will not touch it. From all the posts on LMB feeding he really conviced me that fish really do have indvidual personalities.

I first got my LMB to eat with live blackworms. He used to love them. Now, he is much more a fan of nori and seaweed.

Mine won't except the sea weed on the clip. I don't think he knows it's food....:notsure: He's eating off the glass and cc on the bottom and also the rock. So far so good. Tried to order algae pads from lfs but they still haven't come in. My guy looks a little thin, but he's energetic. I drop pellets in hoping he will eventually take to them...if he gets them before the arrow crab!
Also....he's gotten kinda black along the top...is that a sign of something?

I tried the rubber band thing...still ignored it. BUT...after I posted that it would't eat from the clip....it did. The big 'ol ugly 'nemo' clip...lol. So that's the key, post what they won't do, and then they will do it!!!

Ok, so I have a LMB question. We introduced one into our tank on Saturday. He's been doing quite well, skipping around looking at the rock and stuff.
This morning before I left for work, I noticed about the last 1/3 of his body has turned colors? His overall color is a greyish tan, and this has turned to an almost cream color?
Any thoughts??

My LMB changes colors all the time depending on what he is trying to blend in with.
Sounds normal to me.

My LMB won't eat any of the food that I used to feed the other fish. All he does is graze on the glass and rocks all day for algae and that seems to be enough for him since he is thriving in my tank going on two years now.

mine is sometimes light, sometimes dark. Can't make up his mind...or maybe it's a personal thing with him....like with us women and our hair!!!
