Leaving my tank for 4 days?

What should I do with it before I leave for four days? Should I keep the lights on the whole time? or should I keep them off the whole time?
Opinions on the matter would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Sarah

Its my first year in college. and I wouldn't even have the slightest idea of where I could get one around here? I could bring one back with me, but that would not help me this time.

Do you have a Walmart? In the electrical section, they have Brinks digital timers about $15
or you can get one under $10 if you want to mess with the pin type (BLAH)

I also say get a timer. You can get them anywhere starting at about $5. If you absolutely cannot get a timer, leaving the lights off would be way better than keeping them on for 4days.
Target would be a perfect place to get a timer!

What meowzer said is about the only way to explain it, I have a digital one.
here is the standard looking ones that you set like a stovetop timer (sort of)

If you can't find it ask someone working there to show you where to go.
People usually call them Lamp Timers.

Now that the Holidays are nearing, The Home Depot has a really nice one that is a power strip, 4 outlets that can be programmed and 4 that are on all the time, for $20. In the holiday decor section.
