I met a cop once in San Diego when he went out on our ship, everybody loved him and honestly the guy set-off every alarm in my head and I thought he was uber strange. I agree, I don't think of capital punishment as a deterent for these people, just a very effective way to protect future victims and making more room in the prisons. Manson alone has cost the state of California millions I'm sure for no good reason, how many poor kids could have gone to college on that money.

Yep. I mean some young guy gets wrapped up in a gang and offs someone OK, when you are young and stupid you do stupid things, some a lot dumber than others but.....
In the case of someone like Dahmer not only should they have killed him, they should have sold lottery tickets for the right to pull the switch and televised it on pay per view. They could use the proceed to help reform the young and stupid.

I think they should have done to him what he did to his victims
